Visualising the skills needed in business

April 23, 2009

When you think of the skills needed in business, what are the first 3 words come to mind?

I posted this question to Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Ecademy.

Then I collated the words and uploaded them to our new software. The results are on our Flickr site – have a look for an insight on the skills that came to business owners minds: Cloud of results.

Help NSW Dept of State & Regional Devt to support you better

April 15, 2009

Time for a coffee break? Here is a 10-15 minute survey to explore your views and how you can be better supported.

The NSW Department of State & Regional Development would like your help to develop ways to better support you.

Your input is extremely valuable and will shape the way they run Home-based Business Week and improve their understanding of the needs of home-based businesses in NSW. It only takes 10-15 minutes to complete the survey [perfect for those tea-breaks!]

The Department of State and Regional Development has commissioned Tribe Research to conduct this survey on their behalf. As members of the Australian Market & Social Research Society, Tribe Research is bound by their Code of Behaviour and your responses will be anonymous to the Department.

There is an opportunity to win a one-on-one business consultation with a Home-based Business Week presenter of your choice – just complete the survey and answer:

“What could DSRD implement during Home-based Business Week that would make it a must attend event for you?”

The best answer will not only have their event held within HBB Week 2009, they will win a one-on-one business consultation with a Home-based Business Week presenter of your choice.

To start the survey simply click on the link below and follow the prompts.
