#014 – 2009 December
We wanted to share with you 3 things to give your tribe a voice. The first two are case studies about seeking their views, using their feedback in marketing and business planning, and communicating the changes back. The third is a simple tool to start doing this yourself.
- Your team: We were honoured to be a case study for the first, in a series, by Kochie’s Business Builders. TRX (Tribe Research eX-employees) started in 2008 to enable both past and present staff to stay connected to each other and the business. It was an idea from a member of our team as a result of feeling involved in the business and wanting to stay that way. You can read the case study on our blog; and the background and events on the TRX webpage.
- Your customers: At the Huntington Estate Music Festival in 2008 they asked for feedback then spent time exploring the views and putting it into their marketing and business planning. Then at the 2009 festival they communicated the changes implemented as a result of the feedback. People were happy they were heard and talked about it. Read the feedback cycle in action case study.
- Make it simple using our Tribal Tool-Kit tool, ActionMap: The year is drawing to a close and a perfect time to ask your tribe (team or customers) to reflect on the year and give you feedback. Seek their views before Christmas, review the information in January and communicate back in February. ActionMap gives you a plan for your business based on your tribe’s rating of importance and satisfaction, of aspects in your business. You can define them as you like, some examples: value for money, responsiveness to enquires, approachable team, easy to implement results, located near you.
Set up your FREE Tribal Tool-Kit account to get started.
You get 3 CloudMaker credits (Subscribe to Tribal Voice and we will top it up with another 7 so you have 10 to play with). You can top up your credits starting from $AU3.49 or $US2.36 each using PayPal.
